How to convert currencies
Choose a source currency, destination currency, and amount. The converter calculates the equivalent value using the latest available mid-market rate and shows common amounts for quick reference.
Exchange providers and banks may apply a spread or fee, so the displayed mid-market value is an estimate rather than a guaranteed settlement amount. Rates are fetched from ExchangeRate-API and updated daily.

Example
How the arithmetic works, with an illustrative rate (live rates on this page change daily): if 1 USD = 88.00 INR, then 250 USD = 250 × 88.00 = 22,000 INR, and the reverse rate is 1 ÷ 88.00 ≈ 0.0114 USD per INR. Banks and card networks usually apply a margin on top of this mid-market rate, so the amount you actually receive is lower.
